CANADA!!

Tonight Daniel & I booked our honeymoon location in CANADA!!  We’ll be spending 4 nights in Calgary, then driving to Emerald Lake to stay at Emerald Lake Lodge for an extra 3 nights!

Decisions, decisions

Well, I have to really start thinking about the specifics of the wedding now (with less than 2 months to go!!!) I’ve been looking at a lot of different hairstyles & have found a few that I really like:

I like the first one best, my mom likes the second one, & my MOH likes the third….they’re all pretty similar though!

I’ve also been trying to decide what Sadie should wear to the wedding as the flower girl.  I found a dress online (that my mom actually sent me a few months ago) that I finally ordered last night:

She’s going to look so cute!!

We sent off invitations today!!  Hopefully they’ll be arriving to their destinations soon!

Something Blue

Well my something blue is on the way!  My mom found these absolutely adorable police-theme garters (since Daniel is a police officer).  So cute!

Final Payments

Today we made our final payment to our caterer/cake maker/florist/bartender!  Since we’ve already paid our photographer & DJ, this means we’ve officially paid all of the vendors in full!! YAY!!  This feels really nice J

Invitation Drafts

Our invitation company got our first drafts in today—they’re super cute!  I found the wording of the invitation online & tweaked it a bit… I think it turned out very nicely.

I really love the response cards too!  The birds are fantastic!

Wedding Shoes

My mom & I went wedding shoe shopping this weekend & I found some ADORABLE shoes for the wedding!  Even better, they are really comfortable & shouldn’t hurt my feet.

I know I definitely want to decorate the bottom of my shoes, so I’ve been looking online for ideas.  My favorite style would make it impossible to actually wear the shoes at the wedding:

The crystals would crack if I tried to walk on them.  So my mom came up with a great solution—we are going to buy a cheap pair of shoes to decorate as shown above (just for photographs), & decorate the bottom of my actual shoes like so:
